First in the PHANTOM family is the DJI Phantom Standard at the start, then comes the Phantom 3 Advanced, Phantom 3 4k, Phantom 4 and so on. But today, we will be reviewing DJI Phantom 4 Advanced only, so let’s talk about the basic specs of this copter.
DJI Phantom 4 Advanced Features and Design:
The camera of DJI Phantom 4 Advanced has a 20Mp sensor that’s capable of shooting 4K video at up to 60fps at a bitrate of 100 Mbps and stills at up to 20 megapixels. The maximum flight speed of the Phantom 4 Advanced is slightly higher than the Phantom 4 when flying in P-mode. The maximum flight time is extended to 30 minutes, the transmission range is extended to 7 km, and the obstacle sensing range is increased from 15 m to 30 m.
Though the functions of Phantom 4 Pro and Advanced are quite similar, however, unlike the Phantom 4 Pro the Phantom 4 Advanced does not have rear vision sensors and two infrared sensors in its Flight Autonomy system. Also, its remote controller does not support the 5.8 GHz frequency band and Tapfly Backward has been removed.

DJI Phantom 4 Advanced Battery Performance:

DJI Phantom 4 Advanced Go App:
DJI has recently launched a new DJI GO 4 app. The original DJI GO app no longer supports the Phantom 4 range but it does continue to support previous other DJI product back to the Phantom 3. Though the newly launched DJI app is almost the same as the previous one and adds no special function.
